Music has power to shrug off the blues, the loneliness, the disappointments and the break ups.. It heals like none other company can. Have always been fascinated and amazed by its power and intimacy.. probably it makes me feel that am the rock star of my small world. Lyrics give meaning and language to music, which just hit the right note with wandering souls and hold it for a better purpose .. 'Lyrics of my life' happens to be a part of journey of my life, and am sure it would touch and reflect yours also. ..with exception of situations, events, places, scale of drama, characters and factors being manipulated by the Gods of Destiny!!

Lyrics of my Life
Writing a part of my heart, sometimes entice me to look back
The journey of leaving milestones, often became a quest to arrive
Dreamers kept dreaming of the light, night never took that flight
Change was the theme of my age, years passed scripts never changed
Walking through the colony of relations, drought of shoulders, poker-face love
Peace seemed a sleepy fugitive, opened my eyes and committed a crime
Insanity challenged the faith, humanity conflicted the religion
Prophets changed their professions, Knights turned the final hope of a beacon
Legends kept glorifying the past, deserts soaked with betrayal and belief
Looking into the eyes of present, history told haunted stories of future
Meeting the hopes of a battle, travelling roads inspiring war ravaged hearts
Souls went on vacations, pursuit of happiness became poverty of minds
Beauty waved the feel of a comeback, traded hearts for love encore
Wanted break-free from the pain of time, togetherness healed the fate of line
Opportunity puzzled the occasions, brought vertical and horizontal emotions
Every time made feel someone Special, angels envied for not allowed being an impostor
Winters brought smoky delights, waited till summers for matured wines
Stumbled upon meanings of life, friends still believe season ’05-07 was the best time
Magic never ceased to amaze the eyes, sights that words could never describe
Played all roles at the stage, nominated self for lifetime achievement Award night
Lost in the crowd celebrating moments, went back home looking for my name
Dancing to the tunes of a farewell, smiling on the lyrics of my déjà vu life
